A Not-So-Friendly Reminder

A social experiment at your local gas station.

Gas Kills

The Insight

We are so stuck in our daily routines that we often don’t stop to ask what are the real consequences of our actions, as trivial as they may seem. Every time we pump gas, we have time to kill as the ticker of gallons and dollars tallies up. What if we could embrace that opportunity to send a message?

The Idea

I wanted to replace the words GALLONS and SALE with SOLIDER DEATHS and CIVILIAN DEATHS. Imagine seeing death tolls rising in direct correlation with the gas you are pumping. This idea can also be used to communicate environmental impact with carbon emission consequences.
